About My Clients
My clients often seek therapy when they feel anxious, depressed, burnt-out, or uncertain about how to move forward in their current life circumstances. They may be asking themselves “What now?” in the face of grief and loss, the management of a chronic illness, navigating a major life transition, or any time life is not going “as planned.” Sometimes, painful experiences from their past may also be complicating their ability to find peace and joy in their life now.
My Background and Approach
I’m dedicated to helping my clients develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves so they can feel less overwhelmed, connect to their inner resilience, and find clarity and deeper meaning in their lives. I approach each session with an open mind and the goal to deeply listen so that you feel understood and validated in your experiences. From this place of common understanding, we can help you cultivate hope and identify your next steps forward. I also recognize that personal growth and healing can come from many different approaches, with therapy being one part of a whole. During our therapy sessions, we can work together to identify and incorporate complementary healing practices, such as mindfulness and meditation, creative arts, spirituality, and somatic movement practices to fully support your individual needs and help you meet your therapeutic goals.
