About My Clients
Feeling stuck in life and just can't get out of that rut? Feeling like an addiction or relational pattern has you enslaved and you are longing for freedom? You are not alone. There is a deep ache in my heart for those of us who wrestle with patterns of addiction, loneliness, and emptiness. I utilize relationship-focused and Evidence-based practices to help get you unstuck and living the life you want to live.
My Background and Approach
life. Is. Hard. Your relationship(s) with your friend, significant other, kid, or parent just do not seem to be working. You've tried so many things and you're utterly exhausted. I feel that pain. The pain that exists when even hoping for a different experience feels too much. It sucks. It's exhausting. It feels like there's nothing you can do and you're doomed to a life of painful and unsatisfactory relationships. When we're at the end of our ropes we often need someone to come alongside and tell us: "It sucks, I know. You're not alone. I'm with you. We'll work through this together." This is the core of what I offer.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I truly believe that everyone has a story to tell - that everyone has a voice which is worth hearing. I operate out the belief that there are three foundational aspects of personhood: Voice, Relationship, and Power (Credit to Diane Langberg for this idea). We all have a voice. We all need and deserve relationship. And we all have inherent power. I long to help empower my clients to be able to utilize their voice, thrive in their relationships, and own and responsibly yield their personal power. I also long to help my clients grieve and heal in the areas where their voices have been silenced, their relationships abused, and their power robbed.
