About My Clients

We might be a good fit if you are experiencing grief, dealing with the impact of a traumatic event, or struggling with anxiety (phobias, social anxiety, general anxiety). I often work with clients who come from multi-cultural or mixed documentation status families, and with clients who are members of the LGBTQ community.

My Background and Approach

My approach in therapy is to use warmth and humor to create a safe space for you to unpack what’s going on and identify patterns in your choices, mindset and relationships. Together, we’ll explore how those patterns could be adjusted to better suit your needs and goals. My primary focus in session is on your present experiences and future goals. We will collaborate together in increasing your coping skills and building on your strengths.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe each person has the capacity for change and growth, and the inner wisdom to know what is best for them. Everyone's idea of happiness, success, and peace will look a little different. Therapy should be collaborative and focused on your personal values and hopes. In my non-therapist time, I enjoy volunteering with children and advocating for immigrant rights.

I have experience with the following
  • Agnosticism
  • Atheism
  • Christianity
  • Judaism
  • Interfaith
