About My Clients
Emotions overwhelming, anxiety seems to be in control of you, trauma from the past or recent consuming you - learn ways we can address what we go through in life and need to heal from, be able to find peace with the challenges life brings us so we can move through the moments and not remain stuck, and learn how to connect with ourselves to be feel more in control of how we feel. My Background and Approach
Interactions with others or the world causing you to freeze, increase anxiety, and you have so many moments you are not sure what is going on? Together we will practice techniques where you will learn to calm and release tension, be able to move through stressful moments stored in the body that were activated by daily situations, and be able to focus and engage in more of what you want on a daily basis. I chose a graduate program where I gained the counseling education and was able to gain the education to become an art therapist. Having knowledge and the skill set from both areas has allowed me to gain an extensive background and approach when working with others and be able to have a variety of options to address life to gain desired changes.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
So much happens in our lives and it is so easy to get caught up in things and the perceptions of other people. For many us we come to a point where are more aware of how we are living our lives and maybe cannot pin point what is going on however, we know we desire some change. Exploring life in sessions can assist with this in learning the beliefs that got stored early on, realizing how relationships and attachments guided how we treat our self and interact with others, and how we prioritize our selves. Through talk, art and other expressive means, or somatic techniques we can learn more about life and gain more conscious decisions and intentions on how you want to live yours, improve self awareness and awareness for others skills to improve interactions and communication skills, learn how to manage stress and release tension to gain a sense of calm and be able to relax. More choices, more control, and compassion for the self can lead you to living a life where you thrive.
