About My Clients

You are the owner of your life and change has to come from you. I can't change you. I can support you through this change by creating a safe space to help you dig into the root of your feelings, helping you hold yourself accountable and maybe, enjoying some laughs along the way. This is your life!

My Background and Approach

I am a recent transplant to the PNW. I grew up in NY, but spent the last few years in Maryland. I have experienced how talk therapy can help you to find your strengths to overcome the obstacles life throws at you. As a therapist myself, I enjoy being a direct, blunt, but genuine action oriented therapist. What does this actually mean? I enjoy working with clients to create goals and determine the steps to help reach your goals without feeling overwhelmed. While we work on reaching your goals, we will work to discover what your strengths and weakness are in order to help you gain the confidence to take on the world. I also will help you discover who you are and what you stand for! Understanding what your beliefs and values are will help you create those boundaries to filter out what is either important, or unacceptable, in your life. Our therapy together will help you discover your authentic self.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Once we can determine your authentic self, we can start working towards understanding that what you might consider to be your "weakness" and/or bad experiences may also be what will make you resilient to take on the world and accomplish what you set your mind to! I truly believe that you can be happy & grateful AND still struggle with mental health issues at the same time. Why do I feel comfortable saying this? As someone who also suffers from anxiety, ADD, and depression, I have learned some tips and tricks to share with you in order to be resilient to handle those bumps or road blocks that life throws at you. I am an avid sports fan and a Certified Athletic Trainer. I mention this because to me, life is a team sport. It's why I enjoy working in a group therapy practice; I know I have the support of others around me to help me grow. If you want to learn more about how I can help, send me a message.
