About My Clients
Do you find it difficult to trust others after years of being hurt? Have you experienced something that has changed your world? Have you lost your faith in people or a higher power? My clients have answered yes to at least one of these questions and are looking for a safe space to ask the hard questions, wrestle with the things that feel off-limits, and process the trauma they've experienced. If you're tired of letting your experiences define you, let's work together uncover your true self.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from Arcadia University where I was trained in multi-culturally competent therapy. I take a collaborative approach and work with my clients to set a pace that makes sense for them. While I may have expertise on evidence-based approaches, you are the only expert on you - so let's work together to determine what will bring meaningful change to your life. My goal is to provide a safe space for clients to process what has happened to them and how it has shifted their experience of themselves, others, and the world.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that our internal experiences are neither good nor bad and therefore are not to be ignored but explored and processed. Many of our patterns that we want to change began as a protective behavior and were once necessary. I don't believe in putting bandaids on our problems. If we want to make lasting change, we need to find the core of the issue. I welcome clients of all genders, sexualities, abilities, religions, and cultural backgrounds. I actively find ways to challenge my own biases and privilege and believe that a good therapist has a good therapist. None of us are ever done growing and, while I'm a therapist I'm still human.
