About My Clients
Maybe you’ve tried so much and still feel anxious, depressed, and alone. You keep feeling the same disappointments and fear things won’t get better. I work with people caught in cycles of conflict and overwhelmed by their emotions. What you are doing today, exploring therapy, is something new. Together we will continue to do something different, understand how these patterns happen, care for the hurt underneath, and transform disconnection into connection.
My Background and Approach
I work with people in modern relationships working hard to build an empowering connection, people who feel trapped by relationship anxiety, and people ready to address trauma and cope in new ways. As a therapist, I am honored to be let into others’ stories, relationships, and vulnerabilities. Through therapy we ask the big questions, feel the big feelings, and experience connection in the face of fear. I offer clients the space to find hope through healing and the tools to access that hope when they feel lost. I am a therapist who is obsessed with her friends and a bit of a self-help/wellness fanatic. I love to read, take my dog on long walks, and host big meals. I am curious about the balance between seeking growth and slowing down, the ways we show up in relationships with ourselves and others, and what makes life meaningful. I’ve received my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am trained in Emotions Focused Therapy, Gottman Level 1, and Trauma-based Therapy.
