Typical diagnoses include adjustment disorders, issues of grief/loss, anxiety, depression, chronic health diagnoses, trauma, life transitions, and/or ADHD.
My Background and Approach
Over the past ten years, Katie has worked in education and the non-profit sector. As a result of these rewarding opportunities, she understands the value of collaborating with teachers, parents, mental health professionals, and caregivers on a consistent basis. She is a compassionate and integrative counselor that draws from expressive arts techniques, play therapy, trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness, CBT, and DBT.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Katie believes every client has the capacity to grow, learn, and heal from personal, cultural, generational, and socio-economic challenges. She is here to listen, support, and provide resources to families.
