About My Clients

Do you have worries and difficult emotions that are impacting your relationships? Wanting to heal following a trauma or life transition? As an individual & relationship therapist, I support individuals & partners to work through their worries. My areas of expertise include but are not limited to: anxiety, low self-esteem, sexual dysfunctions, sexual boundaries, jealousy, communication, and depression. My work focuses on supporting queer individuals/couples, women, femme, & non-binary folks.

My Background and Approach

I studied at Thomas Jefferson University where I recieved my master's degree in family therapy with a specialization in sex therapy. I have a bachelor's of science in psychology with a pre-health emphasis from The University of North Dakota. I am trained as a Gottman level 2 therapist (couples therapy method). I work from a trauma-informed, client-centered, and intersectional approach. I pull aspects and techniques from the following theories: emotion-focused therapy, gestalt therapy, process-oriented therapy, internal family systems theory, systemic theory, social construction theory, narrative therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. I focus on what the client needs, so my approach is tailored to each client.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

In a world that is in constant chaos, your inner world should feel like a safe haven, a place of comfort, warmth, and safety. I believe that individuals desire safety within themselves and my initial goal is to support everyone in harnessing that safety in their longest home (their bodies). I have PTSD from a tragic car accident that impacted my sense of safety in my everyday life. With my own work in therapy, I have begun to create safety within myself. So you know that while I am supporting you in reaching your goals, I have been where you have been, I have sat in your seat, but through a different lens. So allow me to see through your lens while I support your changing, growing, and challenging yourself. I also believe in humor and not taking oneself too seriously, so come ready to be vulnerable but also build a therapeutic relationship where you can joke and laugh as well as cry.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
