About My Clients

I provide philosophical counseling, specializing in deeper existential work and identity cultivation. Most clients who find this approach worthwhile are seeking a longer-term therapeutic relationship with the aim of developing connection and further understanding of self through healing of relationships.

My Background and Approach

My practice integrates cognitive, relational, & humanistic focuses with evidence-based practices, applying aspects of attachment, inherited trauma, solution-based conflict management, and self-esteem and identity development. With these higher-level ideals of purpose, selfhood, and meaning guiding us, sessions will be interactive: we'll problem-solve, experiment, develop communication skills, and learn together.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Therapy can and should be for everyone, yet there is a degree of fit between the approach and the person. The clients that fit best with my approach are seeking purpose, navigating feelings of uncertainty and often frustration or disappointment, and recognize the potential value in examining outward relationships as reflections of our inner selves. Successful therapy highlights resourcefulness within clients, helping them to fully see themselves and the power they hold in shaping their lives.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
