About My Clients
I work with folks who are looking for support with their experience of anxiety, depression, exploration of their gender identity, and trauma responses to life events. I have a special interest in working with folks who are part of the LGB and QT+ communities, though I work with clients with many different and intersecting identities.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach includes training and influence from relational, Gestalt, internal family systems, complex trauma-informed, and mindfulness therapies. Working together, I believe we can identify ways to cope with current stressors, as well as process past experiences that may be affecting your functioning, relationships, or understanding of yourself. I work from anti-racist, anti-capitalist, gender-affirming, anti-fatphobic, and non-pathologizing lenses. I aim to create a safe and inclusive space for you to feel supported in your healing and growth, and welcome you to contact me to see how we can work together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people have an innate resilience and strength to get through life's challenges. I also believe it can be valuable to have the support of a patient, non-judgmental listener and confidant to unpack what these difficult experiences are like for us. I am comfortable working with clients while they explore their identities and privileges in our sessions, and welcome conversation around how my presence in the room impacts our work.
