About My Clients

If you're ready to leave behind the overwhelm of all that's not serving you and, instead, move toward relief and a more value-driven life, let's get started. I'm here to support your quest toward exploring and overcoming matters such as anxiety (in its many forms), self-esteem/self-worth, chronic pain or illness, depression, burnout, sleep, trauma, grief, life transitions, identity exploration, & the impact of living in sad & scary times in the world.

My Background and Approach

My approach to emotional health is from a holistic lens and with an understanding of the mind-body connection. I employ evidence-based interventions, primarily mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). You can expect me to be warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth with a blend of professionalism and humor. I'll work with you to establish therapy goals, and I'll offer concrete concepts and skills to assist you in reaching those goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Diversity consciousness and social justice are deeply held values for me, in my work and in my life more broadly. In my work, I strive to create an inclusive therapeutic space and to attend to aspects of identity in my clients' presenting concerns. As someone who holds several privileged identities, I acknowledge the unearned benefits and unconscious missteps that come along with those parts of me - particularly my whiteness - and I regularly work to live a life of deep self-reflection, learning and unlearning, and true allyship.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
