About My Clients
I work with adults who are seeking healing from life's challenges, some of which include anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and grief. Request an appointment for my free 15-minute video consultation to find out if we'd be a good match.
My Background and Approach
I hold a master's degree in clinical social work from Boston University. I draw on many modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy. I am trained in California as a Domestic Violence Counselor and have experience working with LGBTQ-identified survivors of domestic violence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My therapy practice is deeply rooted in feminist and anti-racist frameworks, and is trauma-informed, trans-affirming, queer-affirming, and sex-positive. It is also shaped by my experiences and identities as a queer, white, working-class cis woman. This includes actively examining my own internal biases to support clients with intersecting identities.
