About My Clients
I work with children, adolescents/teens and adults who may need a little extra support navigating social relationships, building self-esteem, navigating stress or mood changes, or who may be having trouble balancing the demands of school, work, and/or relationships. I also have extensive experience working with individuals and their families that identify as LGBTQIA+ and Neurodivergent.

Hello, I'm Julie and I'm here if you want to talk. I'm a Licensed Psychotherapist and I offer mental health services that are approachable and focused on building relationships with my clients. My goal is to make you feel comfortable in our therapy sessions from the outset. I understand that starting therapy can be an intimidating process, which is why I take a casual approach to make it easier for you. Whether you're a parent seeking support for your child or teenager going through a tough time, or a young professional trying to balance work, friendships, and romantic relationships, I'm here to help my clients handle life's challenges. I work relationally but draw upon my background in evidenced-based practices as needed to offer support and tangible tools that you can use in times of need. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm an anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity ally. When I'm not working with clients I also am an adjunct professor at Pacific Oaks College in their Marriage and Family Therapy Program. I've had the privilege to provide workshops for The LGBTQ Center of Long Beach and Pacific Clinics on the intersection of the LGBTQIA and Neurodivergent communities. And, I've been interviewed by Very Well Family on the topic of supporting child who have anxiety about going to school.
