My approach to managing anxiety to simply get to know it. Once we learn about this part of ourselves, we are able to interact, communicate with it and learn from it.
Brene Brown defines shame as “the intensely painful feeling or belief that we are flawed and unworthy of love and belonging”. These painful feelings or beliefs—born out of our relationships to other people, interpersonal relationships, ideological belief systems, and institutional structures—are internalized to create limited perceptions of self. Together we will explore each of these relationships, their impact on your life and how to create new possibilities moving forward.
