About My Clients
I have found it is common for clients to question if they are "crazy" or if something is "wrong" with them. More often than not, the answer is "no." No, you are not crazy. No, something is not wrong with you. Instead, it is likely that your body has adapted to perceived threats in an effort to survive. Together, we can find these answers. I look forward to helping you adopt skills to increase your confidence and decrease vulnerability.
My Background and Approach
I take a person-centered, holistic approach to health and wellness. This means I provide purposeful and authentic interactions, giving you the opportunity to focus on all areas of health (mental, social, physical, financial, environmental, spiritual, intellectual, occupational). When we work together, I facilitate deep reflections to improve insight, support your growth, and help you accomplishment your goals, big and small.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As early as I can remember, whenever I got a chance to make a wish, be it when blowing out my birthday candles, seeing a falling star, or catching the clock at 11:11, I have always wished "to be happy." I grew up tackling severe eczema and debilitating anxiety which followed me into my adult life. Overcoming anxiety has been an ongoing process and learning experience. For me, it has involved making changes to every aspect of health and wellness, not just mental or physical. The more I learn, the more freedom I experience, the happier I am--and that is what I want for you. True change. Growth. Happiness. I believe to achieve this, we have to address all of us, not just one part.
