About My Clients

Have you ever felt like your brain was stuck in a loop and you can't seem to make changes? Or maybe you are stuck in a place of high anxiety, and no matter what you do to relax your body just can't seem to hold on to that sense of calm. Many people have tried talk therapy and have insight into their issues, coping skills that are helpful, but despite this cannot seem to get to a deeper level of calm. This is where a brain based intervention may be helpful.

My Background and Approach

Together we can work to break the cycles of behavior that are holding you back. Neurofeedback is an noninvasive technique that actually shifts the brain at a foundational level, impacting your nervous system immediately in the session to provide a calm and relaxed state that you may have not even thought possible. I began doing neurofeedback in 2010 and was astounded at the way it could bring about change for people who had tried everything. It just seemed to get to where other therapies couldn't go. In 2012 I went back to school for my Master's degree in Counseling. Most recently I have added EMDR therapy to my practice. I strive to provide a space where clients feel heard and understood. Many people have struggled for their entire lives with mental health issues that seem intractable, often from developmental or intergenerational trauma. Doing neurofeedback can make true, lasting changes in the way that we function.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a clinician it is important for me to always be learning and listening. I love reading about the neurobiology of behavior and the relationship between mind, body and spirit. I also recognize that the number one expert on you is you. Your story needs to be heard and respected, and then we can work together towards change. I believe we are all connected and we all have a purpose. It is my hope that each and every person can realize this connection and sense how worthy they truly are. Helping people on this path is one of my great joys. I also love to travel, spend time outdoors, and enjoy everyday moments with my family.
