About My Clients
Have you been struggling with sexual behaviors, attractions, or thoughts that you've been acting on in secret and want to stop with the hurt and shame? Revive your sex life within your relationship(s), as it no longer feels you and your partner(s) are on the same page? The secrecy, shame, guilt, disconnect -- it feels exhausting -- and you do not have to continue to experience this hurt. I look forward to helping you rediscover yourself/relationship(s) in a new way without all the baggage.
My Background and Approach
I work from a non-judgmental, strength-based and client-centered approaches (fair warning: bad jokes, analogies and metaphors get weaved into my work!) with a focus on helping you understand more of the "whys" behind the behaviors and struggles you're experiencing. I then work to help you understand how to use your own strengths and skills (or learn a couple of new ones) to redefine, and make reality, your version of sexual health. This can often come from a place of changing personal thoughts, ideas and increasing accepting yourself for who you are. All of our work together coming with the intent and goal of helping you build more confidence and enjoyment from your sexual self. Being "controlled" by your sexual behaviors, attractions or thoughts does not have to be your forever-reality.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I truly believe that every person, regardless of their sexual attractions, orientation, their behavior (past and present), and how long they have been struggling with accepting themselves (or what they have done/do), deserves to have fulfillment and satisfaction within their sexual lives. Everyone has the right to have a safe, private space to process and work on their personal sexuality and learn how to bring it to a place that helps them feel safe, connected and healthy. I never pretend to have all the answers, nor can I guarantee a person's personal definition will come 100% true, but I can promise to be that safe, non-judgmental and professional space to help you process, and work toward, that personal definition of sexual health.
