About My Clients
I work with children, adolescents, and adults - both individually and in couples or families - to overcome mental and emotional distress; navigate seasons of change and identity formation; and create lives rich with meaning and fulfilling relationships.
My Background and Approach
Beginning therapy is a brave decision, and no matter what you are going through, my priority is to create a space for you to feel supported, accepted, and safe. I deeply value the role of the therapeutic relationship, and strive to build a strengths-focused, person-centered foundation on which to help you find the change and relief you are seeking. I approach therapy from a systems perspective and find it crucial to take into account the many contexts in which you and your relationships reside, and the role these play in your life. I primarily draw from Experiential Therapy, Emotionally Focused Family Therapy, and Family Systems Theory - however our work together will be tailored to best fit your needs and goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Finding a therapist and starting treatment can be many things - overwhelming, exciting, scary. I welcome all hopes and fears you carry, and consider it a privilege to join you in them. Please email me to set up an intake appointment, or free 20 minute phone call to learn more and let me know how I can be of support to you.
