Parenting is the HARDEST job out there. That's what everyone says and it is true. I love working with parents to help them find new or different ways to strengthen their relationships with the their children. You are the expert on your own child. I just come with tips, tools, strategies and ways to help you all manage the roller coaster of family life.

Working with families to resolve conflict, learn new ways to interact to heal strained relationships is the very best, most rewarding work that I do. I work with families, typically in their homes, to help them change in the environment in which the problems arise, to address them naturally and in the most comfortable place for a family. Have an angry teen, sullen child, or siblings that fight a bit too much? These issues and many other can be addressed in family therapy.

ADHD brings its struggles, but also has some superpowers if it is harnessed and valued. We will work together to learn how to cope and manage the challenges and use your strengths to good use. I work with all ages of clients that have ADHD. Let's unleash your superpowers!

I work with clients to resolve trauma using various techniques. One way is through Expressive Art Therapies. Another can be through talk therapy. I also utilize Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to help access the part of the brain that is activated by the trauma and bring it some relief. There are many ways to treat trauma and I will use the technique(s) that clients prefer and respond best to.

Whether I am working with an individual, a couple or a whole family, we always bring family relationships into our sessions. Seeing a person within their family system can provide ways for us to make sense of things that bother us or mystify us or remind us where to turn for support. Everyone's family system is unique and I treat all clients individually based on their past and current family system.

Family therapy is beautiful, powerful therapy meant to empower families to establish healthy, positive relationships, resolve conflict, learn how to communicate and establish peace within the family.

I enjoy helping anyone of any age with ADHD. I myself have ADHD and understand the challenges it brings to life. I also understand that there are some unique skills that many of us with ADHD also can highlight. Overall, it is a very difficult and yet treatable condition. It can affect all areas of life and needs to be treated in all areas. I would love to help you on your ADHD journey.

Working with families to resolve conflict and improve relationships is a honor of mine when I am invited into a new client's home. Family systems are complex and bring many challenges, but are usually full of energy and commitment to a better way of life. Typically I work with families in their own homes and also via telehealth.

I strive to help individuals and families utilize their strengths and find relief fast, but also effectively and creatively. I believe that flexible families are healthy families. We are all healthier when we are flexible and that is a good place to start making change.
