Most of my clients who have concerns about relationships, friendships, and boundaries tend to find great value in my insight. Whether it is how to work together as a team or talk through decisions, clients appear generally enlightened on the different perspectives offered.
I work with a diverse client population. My objective for you is to feel seen and heard.
I will be able to spot thinking patterns that may be holding you back from where you want to be. Challenging those thoughts are going to make all the difference in choosing how you truly want to live your life.
This approach comes naturally to me but it is not for every client. After I get to know you more, I can be able to determine if coaching would be a good approach for your goals. Motivational interviewing is a type of therapeutic approach that can be synonymous with this type of coaching and encouragement. If you like that extra push, then coaching may be for you.
This is one of my favorite areas of therapy as I have a way to intuitively pick up on the bigger picture. I like this area for the client to really describe to me how they behave in relationships/friendships and use that to help them with their desired outcomes and adjust as the client sees fit.
If you find that codependency and relying on others for your own happiness is often making you upset and anxious we can work on ways to alleviate that immense stress. We can work on some major coping skills and self actualizations.
We will explore what makes you anxious and why. We will look at how often you have to be around those situations, people, or places. We will work together to find alternative ways of living your life unhinged.
May it be disorganization or procrastination we will work together to see in what areas you are able to adjust and move towards solutions if that’s what you want. From my experience not every client wants solutions for their adhd but more so just coping skills to manage it better including work, school work, and managing relationships with having adhd.
