I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia and Florida. I obtained my MSW from Valdosta State University. My interest in behavioral health began several years before as a public school teacher. I began to see a growing need for behavioral health services in the students I taught year to year.
Soon after I was awarded my MSW, I began working in community health with a school based mental health program working with children, adolescents, and families. I then branched out and became Director of Social Services in an inpatient psychiatric and behavioral health hospital. This allowed me to work more with adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, substance abuse, trauma, PTSD, self-harm, family problems, relationship problems, divorce, anger management, and life changes.
