I earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Loyola University, and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology (Counseling Practice) from Roosevelt University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and am affiliated with the American Psychological Association, American Counseling Association, and am a member of Psi Chi (The International Honor Society in Psychology). I began my career over 8 years ago and have experience working with adolescents and adults suffering from severe depressive and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, low self-esteem, stress management, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, aggression, substance use, and psychosis.
I take a supportive, empathic, non-judgmental, and collaborative therapy approach to assist individuals to develop the necessary skills to achieve their goals. I work with clients to identify and overcome barriers, build strength, and promote emotional growth. I tailor my therapy approach to best serve each client’s personal needs.
