My Background and Approach

A Fellow of Thanatology - the study of death, dying and bereavement. I work with children, adolescents, teens and adults experiencing extreme emotional and physical pain during monumental life transitions and help them find healing and even beauty from their deepest despair. I am a therapist, both skilled and passionate in connecting and guiding clients from darkness into the light of understanding and healing. The decision to enter therapy is not always easy. Therapy is not easy, but therapy heals. When you seek therapy you put forth a willingness to acknowledge painful emotions and circumstances and a readiness to explore life events that are often scary, inevitably uncomfortable, sometimes even paralyzing. But the insight and meaning you will gain from therapy can lead to transformation, acceptance, comfort, and growth.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe there is beauty to be discovered through our challenges and traumas so we can live big and feel more alive. My work with clients and their families has taught me compassion, connection and courage. I know, through firsthand experience, that therapy heals.

I have experience with the following
  • Agnosticism
  • Atheism
  • Judaism
  • Interfaith
  • Multifaith
