Of all the things trauma takes away from us, the worst is our willingness, or even our ability, to be vulnerable. We have to reclaim it. -BB

About Our Clients

Are you experiencing severe panic, anxiety, depression, nightmares, or flashbacks from something that happened in your past? Let's help you feel better. I have extensive training and experience in working with various survivors of trauma. Together we can find a way to help you get back to the best version of yourself. We enjoy working with adults, adolescents, veterans, military families, law enforcement, ritualistic abuse survivors, DID, and women who have experienced any type of trauma.

How I Can Help You

We aim to meet you wherever you are and have what you need to succeed. No matter where you are in your therapeutic journey, something can be utilized to help you. I am person-centered, curious about you, not afraid to ask tough questions gently, and willing to explore the meaning of life. We'll take as much or as little time as you like to explore your journey, and we'll start wherever you'd like. My approach focuses on helping clients understand critical aspects and cope with their trauma and all that comes with that. I have attended various trainings that taught a variety of mindful and experiential techniques. We'll discuss what's happening within your brain and body during and after traumatic events and how they affect you then and now. You'll gain control over your thought processes, anxiety or depression, and build resilience to continue your wellness journey.

Our Personal Beliefs and Interests

Everyone is on their own journey, and I am thankful to be part of that. The main reason we develop mental health issues is that an event happens that causes many hurts. This means that we learn unhealthy ways of dealing with this hurt and ineffective coping mechanism that may work at the time but not in the long run. Through my professional journey, I helped others learn how to slay their "dragons" and become the hero/ine in their story. I want you to experience the same peace and freedom that I have. I make it a point to be culturally competent and sensitive to all. I participate in community actions that support a variety of individuals. If you think we might make a good team for your journey, shoot me a message! I look forward to hearing from you soon!
