About My Clients

We all have a variety of emotions, and that's normal! It's when they interfere with functioning or turn into a long-lasting mood that we could use some help. Perhaps you feel anxious and depressed, or dissatisfied and upset in your relationships. Maybe you need support as you weather a storm in your life, or someone to help you get back on track with your normal functioning. The bottom line is you don't want your mood to derail your goals, your relationships, and your life.

My Background and Approach

I am a BIPOC international adoptee who is neurodivergent and who has had mental health struggles. I received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology in 2018 from John F. Kennedy University. I maintain an active membership with California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT). I strive to create a safe, accepting environment in which we can collaborate on ways to fulfill your goals for therapy. My person-centered orientation means I provide understanding and validation, as well as regard you as the expert on yourself. I may help guide you to deeper understanding or new insights, and even offer new tools, but ultimately you know what will work for you and will be the one to make the changes. My lens is trauma informed as well as built on an understanding of attachment science. I have an integrative approach, and weave in components of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and parts work.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Outside of therapy, I am very involved in movements for social justice. I also fight to break down the stigma of mental illness, both in my personal life, and through my work with National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Santa Cruz County.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
