About My Clients
You are insightful and self-aware, you know all of the “right” things to do and think, and yet you still struggle to truly feel good enough. Have you spent your life trying to achieve and move up the ladder and still feel anxious, panicky, or like something is missing? You might be a people pleaser and struggle to say no or to set healthy boundaries.
My Background and Approach
When you work with me, you will find a strong supporter and advocate for your well being. I care deeply about our connection first and foremost. I'll teach you skills to calm your nervous system and will help you learn to treat yourself with kindness and to make your inner critic less powerful. I take on an active role and don't just passively listen. I know how to do deep and effective work. I have a relational approach to therapy and utilize mindfulness, EMDR, and nervous system awareness, which allow for deeper healing than traditional talk therapy. I am trained in a variety of other modalities as well and can incorporate them based on your unique needs & goals. You and I will work together to determine which methods suit you best.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I absolutely love helping clients discover how to connect with themselves and others, so they can be more authentic and build more meaningful relationships. My goal is to work together with clients to empower them to not just heal, but to thrive in life. One of my greatest joys in life is helping people become more authentic individuals. I help because I can see the pain and suffering in society that occurs when people try to live up to the values and standards of others. It seems that the whole world is on a search to figure out how they identify themselves and the people they most relate to. I am passionate about multicultural identity integration; I personally believe that honoring and unifying the differences that make this world beautiful and strong will not only help heal us as individuals but also as a community.
