As a mental health clinician, everyone’s mental health is important and vital at every stage of one’s life. Our emotional, psychological and social well-being all affect how we act, think and feel. These aspects also help us on how we handle stress, relate to others and make healthy choices for ourselves. Mental Health counseling is vital when our emotional, psychological or social wellbeing goes off track and starts affecting one’s daily functioning, one’s relationships personally or work related and /or our social wellbeing.
In situations related to life changes and transitions one can fall into states of worry and anxiety about the future, which can lead to sadness, anxiety and possible depression due to the potential changes or loss which can come with difficult transitions of life. These changes in one’s life are at times difficult to manage alone.
