About My Clients
As a MFT intern, I am excited to work with adolescents and their families as they navigate through the many transitions that arise during this time of life. I am also delighted to be working with couples, especially those working through the challenges that inevitably come along with a serious partnership. Life transitions, health challenges, and changing roles are just a few of the areas where I would love to offer my support.
My Background and Approach
First and foremost, I am a systemic therapist. This means that I am trained in a variety of models which view clients and their reasons for seeking therapy in the context of the systems they belong to. Those systems might be relationships, family, school, society, or culture. While I bring my systemic training into each therapeutic relationship, I primarily practice from an attachment-based perspective, most commonly utilizing the Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) treatment modality. I may also incorporate Internal Family Systems modalities as needed in treatment. Ultimately, therapy is a collaborative process and I look forward to working with you to find the best approach to support your goals.
