I believe counseling should be client-directed, and am interested in developing a collaborative relationship with those who are seeking support. I have experience working with adolescents and families, as well as adults and couples. My goal is to consider how your current responses make sense given your life experiences and focus on planning to make changes that will allow you to have more control over your life. This process is very different for each person, and I am committed to supporting your best thinking. I also offer clinical supervision, focusing on supporting professionals to expand skills and personal awareness.
I am a trauma-informed therapist focusing on client strengths and interests, and am a fully trained EMDR therapist. I also use a variety of other evidence-based and mindfulness practices. I have training in topics of gender and sexuality, multiculturalism and spirituality, as well as clinical supervision and addiction treatment.
