About My Clients

Your life looks great on paper and you even feel guilty sharing your unhappiness with others because you so many others have it worse. You have worked hard to get where you are, but now aren't sure why. My clients are high performing in their careers but running on empty. They are concerned with with work/life balance, improving their relationships, processing trauma, exploring sexuality, and spirituality. I will help you work through burnout and stress and learn to find balance even in chaos.

My Background and Approach

I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient Behavioral Health settings since obtaining my MSW from Boston University. I am an Approved Provider for Cognitive Processing Therapy, I have completed a certification in Positive Psychology from UPenn, and I am an RYT-200 yoga instructor. I have BA and Master in religious studies and welcome matters of spirituality and religion into our sessions. I use these modalities to tailor each session according to an your needs. My style is warm, goal-oriented, and welcoming. My goal is to help you learn coping skills to manage stress, ask the hard questions you're afraid to ask, and identify your priorities so that you can quickly improve your overall wellbeing.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Research has shown that optimism can be learned. I believe that we each have the power to create a life we are excited to get out of bed for in the morning. A favorite monk of mine used to say, "You can't be grateful for everything, but you can be grateful in every moment." Life is hard on its own so learning some new strategies for managing stress, changing our perspective, and aligning with our goals can be the most transformational work we do. It takes time, diligence, and hard work, but whenever I have committed to this in my own life I have found myself genuinely enjoying life again. I bring passion, goal-orientedness, and empathy to the therapeutic space. I LOVE hearing when my clients share with me their victories, personal growth stories, and a look back at how much has changed since they first began therapy.
