About My Clients
Reaching out for support takes courage. I’m so glad you’re here! I created Bring Back the Village, to provide therapeutic support for women, children and families. Becoming a mother is a profound transformation and while it can feel joyful it can easily become overwhelming. You deserve a safe space to feel supported and empowered. It is my intention to offer tools that will enable you to feel prepared for the bumps along the way and embrace the joyful moments together as a family.
My Background and Approach
I will walk beside you as you embark on this journey into motherhood. I will shine the light and help you find the path that leads you to your heart, your initution and inner knowing. I will offer my guidance along the way sharing my holistic approach through a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , EMDR, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness, Attachment Based Therapy and Yoga Psychology. I am a Prenatal and Perinatal Educator (PPNE) through the Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Health (APPAH), a Gottman Trained “Bringing Baby Home” Educator and member of the Postpartum Health Alliance.I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ. I have dedicated my career to working with women, children and families since 2003. I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in 2009 and have worked in non profit mental health agencies, school based mental health programs and residential treatment centers.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens through relationships. Together we will explore areas you feel blocked, work to heal traumas and develop the tools needed to feel confident and empowered. My approach is both nurturing and practical. I am holistic minded and value the importance of a mind-body-spirit approach to wellness. I offer walk and talk, in person and virtual sessions.
