About My Clients
I help individuals and couples who are facing challenges in their relationships, struggling with mood or anxiety issues, coping with trauma, or managing the symptoms and effects of attention deficit disorder (ADD/ADHD) so that they can lead happier and more satisfying lives. I also provide required psychological assessments for those seeking bariatric surgery procedures.
My Background and Approach
I have advanced training and experience providing couples therapy using a variety of couples approaches. I also provide individual and group therapy and lead a Coed Separation and Divorce Support Group. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and use a strengths-based approach to help you make changes in patterns of thinking and behaving and to find solutions to difficulties. Together, we develop a personalized plan to best meet your goals and I integrate other theoretical approaches as well.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
All of the therapists at The Snow Psychology Group are fully trained and independently licensed. Our psychologists are licensed to provide telehealth services to those in MD/DC/VA and over 25 other participating PSYPACT states. We have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, ACT, mindfulness, Gottman method couples therapy, as well as supportive psychotherapies. Our therapists are experienced at tailoring their specific approach to the needs of each individual and we strive to match each patient with the therapist in our practice who would be the best fit for them.
