About My Clients

***If you are interested in meeting with me please schedule an appointment through Options Counseling and Family Services at their Eugene location: https://options.org/ I have been seeing clients for several years and in that time have worked with couples, individuals, polyamorous relationships, trans folk, LGBTQ+ folk, people of color, and more. I have experience working with sex and relationship issues, trauma, infidelity, and a wide range of mental health disorders.

My Background and Approach

I received my BA in Psychology from The College of Idaho in 2015. I'm currently working on my MS in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling with an emphasis in Grief, Trauma, and Crisis Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University. Additionally, I'm working towards becoming an American Association on Sexuality, Education, Counseling, and Therapy certified sex therapist. My approach to counseling is that it is a journey we take together. We’ll explore your story, what you want your future to look like, and how to be your most authentic self. I also like to explore different parts of who we are. Often times people think, “A part of me wants to this but another part wants that.” I want to help you understand what roles those parts serve for you and how they impact your life. The most vital part of counseling is the counseling relationship. I strive to hold a space where we can all be ourselves and let our personalities shine.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that our personal identities and expectations are intertwined with our mental health. We cannot control the societal narrative or how others view us, but we can control how we view ourselves and what expectations we set for ourselves. I also believe that trauma has a major impact on how we experience the world; whether that trauma is abuse, neglect, natural disasters, or just simply existing as a marginalized person. I support people from all racial/ethnic, religious, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
