About My Clients

I specialize in helping clients suffering from depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, poor body image, or those who are struggling with relationship or intimacy issues. I particularly enjoy working with young women in their late teens, 20s, and 30s, that need support adjusting to stressful life transitions - new school, jobs, relationships, recent relocations, grief, and loss. Please note, that my practice is currently virtual only.

My Background and Approach

With trust and respect, we will work together to understand the meaning of the experiences that are causing you frustration and pain. I will help you explore places in your life where you feel stuck- recurrent patterns, limiting beliefs, painful choices - to understand why they no longer work for you and to help you to make positive changes. My approach integrates elements of evidence-based therapies including; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

The choice to enter into therapy is a powerful one that should be supported in a safe environment that encourages both curiosity and compassion. Before starting therapy and embarking on the path of inquiry, it's most important to find a therapist who is a good fit for you. I encourage my clients to schedule as many consultations call with prospective therapists as possible, and welcome the chance to speak with you to see if my approach resonates with your needs.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
