About My Clients
I work with children, adolescents, and adults and specialize in helping them overcome the stress in their lives by creating personalized plans that address each client's specific needs. My passion is empowering individuals and strengthening relationships. I help my clients utilize their abilities and challenge them to become actively involved in their own success. My Background and Approach
I received my BA degree in Sociology, and my MSW degree from UCLA. I have been licensed since 2003, and have worked in the mental health profession for over 24 years. I mainly utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, and I am thoroughly trained, and experienced in addressing trauma, anxiety and depression. I also provide Christian counseling, and am passionate about addressing absent father issues, especially restoring the father-adult child relationship. I am strength-based, and culturally sensitive, and I believe that my warm, welcoming, and non-judgemental approach will allow you to feel comfortable and safe with me. I truly care about my clients and want to see them reach their goals.
