Abuse, divorce, death, medical problems, bullying, neglect -- you name it -- are stressful things. Some children are able to bear this stress and move forward without consequence, but many others cannot without intervention. They get stuck in the negative. These kids can’t get on “green” at school. They have nightmares. They don’t get along with others. They cling to you. They have meltdowns all the time. They just can’t seem to get “better” no matter what you try to do to help them.

I have extensive training in child-focused therapeutic treatments, and I’ll work with both you and your child to develop and execute a plan to decrease or eliminate problematic behaviors. For the last 13 years, I have seen children on the verge of expulsion begin to like school. Children so anxious they hid under my furniture were then able to interact with me and others.
