About My Clients

(Spots now available) Many clients who have come to me have felt lost. They didn’t know who they were anymore because they were so focused on pleasing the people around them. All those expectations are overwhelming and, before you know it, you don’t know how to get back to that person you used to be… the fun, carefree, independent, engaged person you know you can be again. This can be the result of toxic relationships, childhood experiences, trauma, grief, or even anxiety or depression.

We work together in your therapy to tailor treatment to your specific needs. Those needs and desires within therapy may change along the way and we will continue to work together to adjust as that happens. You are the expert in your life. Why I am a Good Fit for You

I know what it's like to be unheard and silenced, even by my own doing. one of my close loved ones suffers from lifelong mental health concerns that has consumed my family's time and energy. I grew up thinking their needs were more important than my own. I tried to be a low-maintenance child who needed to please others and struggled to express myself which led to bottling up my feelings. I lessened the stress on my family by piling it onto myself. I became obsessed with perfection and dealing with everything on my own. I wanted to solve other people's problems, even though I was crumbling from my own unwillingness to accept help. I had to learn how to set boundaries with others and with myself. I had to learn how to let other people in and express myself. Only when I was able to heal myself was I able to learn how to help others. The strong inner turmoil inspired me to become a therapist.
