I help individuals of all ages who are experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, academic difficulties, family and relationship difficulties, life and career transitions. I also have specialized training in working with survivors of trauma and sexual assault; helping those with these experiences manage PTSD symptoms.
My Background and Approach
I have a M.S. degree in clinical psychology from Benedictine University, and received my bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Kansas. I have obtained specific training in crisis centers and public schools, working with survivors of sexual assault of all ages, as well as their loved ones. I provide play therapy for children who are survivors of sexual abuse.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves equal opportunities and access to quality health care, including mental health care. I strive to provide each client effective, quality counseling services, while collaborating with them regarding their financial situation to make it as feasible as possible for them. I do offer sliding scale fees for individuals whose insurance is out of network and may not otherwise be able to afford counseling.
