About My Clients

My clients are of diverse backgrounds, and many are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. When first seeking help, they find themselves feeling stuck emotionally, in their relationships, or careers. I tend to work with creative individuals, though many don't necessarily identify themselves as 'an artist.' My approach doesn't require any artistic skill, as it's more about exploring your individual experience and focusing on self-expression.

My Background and Approach

I believe in the therapeutic nature of creative expression. I earned my bachelor's degree in art therapy/psychology as well as a master's degree in art therapy and creativity development. I consistently attend continuing education courses and training to gain new skills to inform my work with clients. Outside of my role as an art therapist, I'm sure it's no surprise that I'm an artist! While I usually lean toward collage work, I have recently enjoyed exploring resin and mixed media art. It serves as a way to practice my own self-care.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

The work I do is built on the collaborative relationship between myself and each individual I work with. I want to validate the unique and important needs of each individual, provide a space for my clients to be heard, and develop coping skills that will get them through today's struggles as well as tomorrow's.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
