About My Clients

I am experienced in working with adult clients of all ages and identities, with special training working with LGBTQIA+ clients and people in all stages of parenthood. I work with both individuals and couples, particularly those looking to recover from trauma and LGBTQIA+ clients.

My Background and Approach

I see therapy as client directed, therapist guided. Whatever you desire to get out of therapy, my role in the process is to teach you the skills necessary to bring yourself to the answers and outcomes you are seeking using your own strengths. I’m a therapist who likes to be direct with clients. My overall approach uses an integrative model, drawing from psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and relational techniques. Due to my own experience as a client, I bring my authentic self to our sessions in order to create a therapeutic relationship that is empathetic and honest. I promise I will be your biggest cheerleader along the way. Our work together will be challenging and rewarding. If you are interested in working together, please do not hesitate to reach out.
