People who want to work with me are often feeling stuck in some way. Or they are navigating a life transition that is bringing up feelings of confusion and overwhelm. Maybe they are looking to explore their intuition or identity. Many times, people that come to see me have been in therapy before and made progress, developed skills, had meaningful insight and are now ready to do some of the deeper healing work. To acknowledge and explore how past experiences keep showing up in their life.
My Background and Approach
Therapy with me is unique to you. I offer a body-centered approach to psychotherapy and healing, informed by neuroscience. My approach invites you to explore the relationship between your own mind and body through incorporating trauma-informed yoga, mindfulness, EMDR, and other somatic modalities. These various approaches are tools to help you live your life in a more engaged, embodied, and meaningful way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people have the innate capacity to heal when they are truly seen and validated. When you have the right tools, support, and provide yourself the space, healing does happen! I strive to offer an inclusive, trauma-informed, compassionate, and validating space to highlight your strengths and explore the memories and beliefs that can keep you stuck. Part of our work is connecting to your intuition and making space for your most authentic self.
