About My Clients
I am proud to be an affirming therapist who works primarily with neurodivergent clients, as well as clients in the LGBTQ+ community. I am competent and experienced in working with autism, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and more.
My Background and Approach
You are more than a diagnosis and more than your challenges and symptoms, even if they play a large role in your life. I primarily work with autistic clients (whether "officially" diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or suspecting), those with ADHD or who suspect it, and those with signs of depression, low self-confidence, and/or anxiety. I practice from a neurodiversity affirming lens, meaning I view neurodivergence as something to be embraced and worked with rather than changed, rejected, or "fixed." Whether you know where you want to be, or are just exploring the possibilities, it’s possible to make changes in your life. You don’t have to do this alone. Reach out via email or phone call for a consultation to see if we would be a good fit or to schedule an intake.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside the therapy office, I make a point to get involved and take action through political and social activism. I take pride in writing to my elected officials regarding bills relevant to the mental health community, taking part in protests and demonstrations that support equity and human rights, and continuously working to educate myself.
