Hello! My name is Emerson, and I am an LGBTQA+/gender specialist of lived experience who has been working in the mental health field for over a decade. If you or your loved one is seeking help for mental health concerns, questioning their sexuality or gender, wants support for their gender transition, or if you as an allied family member need support or information, please contact me.
My Background and Approach
In addition to helping individuals overcome difficulties with depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc, I also specialize in supporting LGBTQA+ individuals as they explore their identities. If you are considering gender transition, I can provide guidance and resources. I am able to provide gender affirming surgery support letters following an assessment. I have supported many families of transgender children and adolescents as they begin their gender journeys. I am also trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy and have worked with many individuals who have experienced trauma.
