I have worked with several couples experiencing infertility. We have discussed the emotions that arise during each cycle, as well as discussed various goals for each member of the family. I have personally struggled with infertility, and have deep empathy for couples that struggle to conceive.

I have worked with many couples on various issues such as depression, anxiety, codependency, substance abuse, and more. We discuss goals for each partner and determine the best path forward. We work together on building a stronger connection, displaying appropriate boundaries, and participating in positive communication skills.

I have worked with clients battling addiction since 2015. We discuss goals and relapse prevention strategies for the future. We collaborate on "safe outs" and various triggers and roadblocks that can impede sobriety.

I have worked with many families using the family systems theory. I ask members about their various roles within the family and collaborate with them to determine how their system currently functions. I then find the 'cog' within the system to determine a more efficient way for the family to interact with one another. This cog is usually made up of interpersonal conflict or mental health diagnosis. By isolating the issue, the family can then interact and develop as a unit.

I have used solution focused therapy for many years. I begin by developing goals with the client(s) and collaborating to determine the best course of action for them. We then develop mini goals and use miracle/scaling questioning to determine if we are on the right track.

I use couples counseling for my cohabitating, intimate, married, and everything in between couples. We open the discussion with goals for treatment, then get a more inside look to each partner's experiences in the relationship. We develop boundaries, explore love languages, and discuss open communication patterns.
