About My Clients

If you're facing mental health symptoms that are derailing your life; addicted to substances, work, people-pleasing, or perfectionism; or looking to make some changes in your behavior or your thinking, working with me may be a great option for you. I have experience helping folks ages 10 and up who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and addiction or who have experienced trauma. I work with folks who are interested in trying out new ways of thinking and coping with life and mental health.

My Background and Approach

I've helped folks find a sense of safety and peace by returning to their own wisdom and strength. I'll encourage you to invest in mindsets and practices that will help you live your best life. Through a nonjudgmental healing relationship, we'll address your concerns by identifying behavior patterns and strategies for growth. My approach is collaborative and centered on your individual needs. A yoga instructor and self-described "brain nerd," I like to share mindfulness practices and brain science because knowledge is power. I'm also trained in EMDR to treat trauma. We'll work together to figure out a self-care routine that works for you or solidify the one you've got. I've worked with clients from age 5 to 85 in a variety of settings. In 2017, I completed my MSSW at the University of Texas at Austin. An East Coast native, I decided to return to Baltimore two years ago. I love Baltimore and talking about mental health.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

LGBTQ+-allied // Sex-positive // Anti-racist // Spiritual I believe that moment to moment, we are doing the best we can. Sometimes our best doesn't look great, which can create a lot of shame or hurt either from others or within ourselves. I believe that it can be difficult to learn how to have a healthy relationship with our emotions and ourselves so sometimes we have to learn that in therapy. I believe that shame and judgement hold us back from living our best lives and it is revolutionary to throw them off as often as possible. I believe that human beings are oriented toward healing and thriving and that we can all feel better if we can figure out what kind of support we need and find it. Let me know how I can help you grow.
