About My Clients

I work with clients struggling with depression, trauma, or anxiety related to their chronic pain, including pelvic and sexual pain. Our initial sessions will dive deeply into your experiences so we can work on a plan together. I will help you learn to navigate self-advocacy in healthcare settings, reduce your symptoms, and help you feel in control of your life.

My Background and Approach

I counsel with a holistic, non-judgemental, empowering and feministic approach, utilizing a combination of Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Based Therapy, and Person-Centered Counseling. Our first meeting will be a comprehensive consultation to assess your needs and goals so I can hand tailor a treatment plan that we can work on together. I am committed to collaborating with your other health providers, so you have an entire support system surrounding you. Although I primarily work with women, all are welcome. My sessions are a safe space for individuals experiencing adversity and oppression, including but not limited to, the BIPOC community, the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent individuals, and those with disabilities. I will support you however I can, and hold space for you to share your story and goals. I am also happy to discuss any accommodations you might need.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

We are often told when we have chronic pain that it is “all in our head”, “there is not much we can do”, “it's just something that happens”, and the frustrating list of responses go on. Our health conditions and experiences are often invalidated, and we are made to feel as if it’s inevitable. I am here to validate that your pain is real, and I can help you learn about the incredible mind-body connection as you begin on your healing journey. Whether you are experiencing anxiety or depression from chronic pelvic/sexual pain, trauma, or other life stressors, I am here to help normalize what you’re going through and provide evidence based strategies to help you achieve your goals.
