About My Clients
When things are not going right, and you know it's time to make a change, that is when therapy with me can be beneficial. I am here to listen and help you sort out various issues you're experiencing. I treat anxiety, depression, bipolar, PTSD, first responders, sexual abuse, addiction, career issues, existential concerns, and relationship problems.
My Background and Approach
11 years of experience informing my ability to help others, licensed to practice in Massachusetts. Two master's graduate degrees: MS UMass Boston 2013; EdM Harvard Graduate School of Education 2002. I provide a warm, supportive, client-centered, nonjudgmental presence using proven treatment modalities like CBT, DBT, mindfulness, relational, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, narrative, possibility development, and positive psychology. I encourage people to build hope, possibility, strength, and resiliency. Adults and teens work with me in counseling for skills to reduce, eliminate, or manage symptoms, to dialog with me on root issues, explore and unpack deep truths, develop insight and meaning. or for emotional support.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Everyone struggles with something. But I really believe we can be there for each other. I love my work as a therapist. Seeing people begin to feel better is something that gives me deep joy.
