Life brings challenges and with those challenges comes opportunity for growth. If you are ready to embark on a new path towards self-discovery, I am here to offer support, guidance and strategies.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed professional counselor, board-certified dance/movement therapist, and Somatic Experiencing practitioner in training. I hold a Masters degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Columbia College Chicago. In addition to practicing at Emovere, I work at St. Louis Children’s Hospital as a dance/movement therapist, working with patients battling chronic medical diagnoses and struggling with mental health concerns. I previously worked in a residential eating disorder facility as a primary therapist and coordinator of therapeutic movement programming. I have experience working in psychiatric hospital and adult day program settings. In addition to my therapeutic work, I have led workshops and webinars on trauma-informed dance education. My overarching passion is to bring the body into the conversation, specifically into relationship with the mind and one’s experience. I would be honored to help you start that compassionate conversation with yourself.
