About My Clients
I work with clients with family of origin experiences including growing up in a conflict filled household, coping with a family member with mental symptoms or personality disorder, processing childhood traumas, challenges establishing boundaries with self and others.
My Background and Approach
I obtained a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Florida International University and my Masters in Social Work from Fordham University. My aim is to bridge the gap of mental health services through a sincere approach to treatment in a safe environment that is conducive to your path to betterment. Providing individual therapy to young adults and adults. I'm a Certified Brainspotting practitioner. My specialty areas include anxiety, navigating family of origin experiences/intergenerational trauma, and various life transitions. I take an integrative approach using ACT, Brainspotting, DBT, mindfulness techniques, and/or strength-based techniques.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I practice from inclusive, anti-oppressive and trauma-informed lens. I believe a therapeutic relationship requires honesty and trust at its foundation. My goal, in this relationship, is to provide a safe space, highlighting your strengths and choices that will help you throughout your journey. I welcome feedback so that you are an integral part during this therapeutic relationship. I understand that the person who knows you best - is you. While we work together I will work with you in a sincere and non-judgmental manner.
